It's the ones over 100 HP or so are made overseas. Talking to Bubba down at the dinner is a pretty unreliable source for info. The 2000,4000,5000 series JD are assembled in Agusta. Parts from all over the world and remember JD owns most of Yanmar. The larger 4000 twenty series of compacts have went to a JD built four cylinder. 6000 series isn't American. It's built in Mannheim Germany at the old Lance plant. Engines from Saran France. The 7000,8000 & 9000 are US built. Some parts from Mexico in just about every JD tractor, grader, loader etc.
