You might be an equipment jockey if: You've ever owned the same tractor more that 3 non concecutive times Strangers approach you and greet you with "I've seen you at sales" You're idea of a family vacation involves an auction You drive through small towns on your way home with a load of purchases and the guys hanging out in front of the local gas station point at you and talk among themselves. Those same guys at the gas station give you the thumbs up when they realize you caught them looking You've ever used a wide load sign to hide the fact that you never got around to renewing the license plate on your truck You've ever had an overdraft at the bank that exceeded your annual income Your harvest has ever been delayed because somebody came along wanting to buy a combine and the one you were using was the only one on the place that ran You're on the mailing list of more than 15 auctioneers You go to a farm sale 3 states away and the auctioneer calls you by your first name All the calenders in your house came from auction companies
