I was operated on for those ulcers quite a dew years ago. Be fore The doctor could find them, would not show on any tests, he would put me on medication for a few months and the hurt in my stomach would dissapere for a while and return again. Was only after one morning when I woke up throying up blood did the dr. find it. What I would like to pass on is that when ever I started hurting if I would eat some lettuce that was fixed with an oil and vinigar dressing and wilted(I eat a lot fixed like that, at times will fix 2 or 3 heads at a time, when I want a plate I just put in microwave and heat up) it would stop the hurting, everybody thought that it would cause it to hurt more till my Father in law, pharamest for 50 years with a degree in bacteroligy(?) got to think back to his schooling he come to the conclusion that the vinigar being an acid it was netrulazing the stomac acid and that is why I would feel better after eating that lettuce. I would think that the vinigar in any form bight help you and it cann't hurt anything or compromize any meication you are on. Leroy
