Guess I'd let it go, but with the understanding that if he gets behind the 8 ball again, let you know in enough time so you might have a chance to salvage the situation. Since you apparently own enough equipment for the job (and presuming he doesn't take your equipment off your place to do other jobs), you might could have hired someone else to run it and get the job done, if you'd known in time.
