My county (Montcalm) in Michigan is 4th for car deer accidents in the state. Not uncommon to see several deer carcasses per mile piled up. My family has had several near misses right in our own driveway over the last few nights. Thursday nite I chased three out of my yard twice with the car - (at different times.) This morning there were two running across the field within feet of the pasture fence where my sheep & llamas are. I don't need the deer's diseases in the sheep herd. Every one of my family members has had a car deer except my son, within the last couple years. wife has hit two - there's still hair stuck under her car from the last one. Deer (and turkeys) are at nuisance levels, and need to be thinned.
