I have gone to $1.30 per loaded mile here in southwest Iowa, and I'm not real sure if that price quite covers everything. I agree with IDF, I'd be very cautious about hiring anyone who quotes a low ball figure. 95 cents might buy the fuel, but sure won't cover any other expenses.
