Anybody that spent any time in the Navy knows what a needle scaler is, it's the best thing in the world to remove multiple layers of paint and rust. All of the previous posts have been right on the money about what they are and how they work. I'll tell you a secret....if you want to make alot of noise and make your wife think your really working and doing alot get you a rubber band and tie the trigger on and another to hold it in your hand. Put it against something solid and snooze away. Believe it or not I've seen it done many times...
