It's a sellers market for loader tractors. As every farm operation needs them and they can be used for other tasks as well. Plus with the flight of people with money into the rural countryside. They need something to mow large lawns, move snow and etc. The end result is a loader tractor 20 to 45 years old in decent shape still sells for near it's new price. New loader tractors in the garden tractor and over grown garden tractor sizes sell for more $$$ than a 50HP utility tractor. Check out the Deere site for the 2000,4010 and 4020 class of compact tractors. Then check out the 5205 tractor with four wheel drive with a 500 series loader. In 10 years time your SUV or pickup will be worth very little but in 20 years time your 5205 with a 542 loader will still be worth the same.
