Did I stumble across something shady?

Just for kicks, I was browsing an ebay for equipment. I clicked on Business and industrial then on combines in the Ag equipment section. In this area, there were several auctions labeled A1, V2, C7, etc, etc. The description had nothing in it but happy bidding and every item had a bid on it from the same person. The seller had a rating of something like 200. So what's the deal? Is he padding his account to look like he has better feedback?
