Farmhand F11 problems

Farmhand F-11B on Oliver 88.
All working well for 4 years.
Yesterday as I was plowing snow and
leveling, shaft on right lift cylinder
dropped out of cup attachemnt on bracket
mounted to rear axle.
Got it replaced and it dropped and I replaced it several more times as I was working the snow.
Obviously some dynamic has changed in this loader to allow shaft to compress into cylindder
while working. Loader is designed with shaft simply going into cup on axle bracket. No pin or collar to keep it in cup. As I stare at the loader, I cannot see what ever kept main cylinder shaft from pulling out of cup. However, it seemed to work well fro 40+ years.
Anyone have idea what has worn or changed to allow cylinder to compress enough to let cylinder shaft pull out of cup?
ANy help appreciated.
