I am thinking unless the wheel center is cast iron, then the tractor came out with steel wheels, as the flat or round steel spokes were cut off and a rim welded to add rubber tires. Some guys did excellent work and it's hard to tell from a factory looking job.So they could have put any width rim they wanted to.My 1938 model has cast wheels and the tire place has only one guy that will work on it because it is a split rim type arrangement.
