Howdy folks, What a terrific day! Went to the local JD dealer today (Georgetown, OH) to pick up my parts order. 60 bucks for a carb float, gasket, can of paint, and two sheet metal pins. Did get a free calendar though. Fun part came this evening when I put the carb back together, did some tinkering with the timing and then heard that beautiful popping sound of the JD M. It's the first time this tractor's run in over 20 years according to the owner. I shot him an e-mail after comin inside with nothin but "putt putt putt" for the message. Would love to see his face when he reads it. You never forget why you love doing this so much when you hear the engine hit for the first time. God bless. --old fashioned farmer
