WACO, This is an ol trick I learned on JD LPs a looong time ago. I am sure you cut the Liquid & Vapor valves off after you use it. Even at lunch! Now.....While cranking the engine, open the vapor,...Now take your free hand, and osolate the steering wheel back and forth about 1/4 turn, rapidly! She should start! I not sure why it works exactly, but I have never seen it not work on those old Deeres. This trick should eliminate the need for ether in all but the dead of winter here in Cen-Texas. What it does is releave the hydrolic pressure when cranking I think. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
