Big Fred, If your truck already had bolts, I would understand removeing the brackets. But to drill out the rivets to do this job is just plain dumb. It would take you longer to drill out the rivets, and dress up the holes and install bolts, than it takes to do this job. It"s really not a hard job to replace the bushings. And in my part of the country, these ranch trucks crossing ten or fifteen cattle guards a day better have rivets in the brackets. Redmud:
