JD 5210 clutch not disengaging

The Clutch on my 1998 5210 with 1250 hours does not always disengage. When I push it in the tractor will continue to "crawl" and the second I tap the brake it stops. At that point it is difficult to shift the gears.(sychnshuttle trans)It seems to happen more often when it is less than 40 degrees outside but does not happen every time. The clutch is adjusted properly and since I do not "ride" the clutch, I believe it is in good shape. Any suggestions from my fellow JD owners?
