I would say flush the system out and make sure you have enough fluid in it. You shouldn't need the low temp fluid for those kinds of temps. The regular should be fine to at least -40. Not that it won't get a little sluggish but it should pump fine. If the flush doesn't solve it then you might as well bite the bullet and throw a pump at er. God knows that 3800 will outlast any other engine component.
