Actual temp was -44 Yellowstone MT back in 1980. Waited till it warmed up to -20 to go sledding for the day. But have experienced many -35 to -40 mornings here in So MN. Coldest wind chill was -92 during the 75 Superbowl blizzard in Fargo. Actually walked around town that night looking for some barely pop. Only way around town was afoot or X country skis. Most of the streets had from 2 - 4 foot drifts in them. Actually tripped over a car antenna on one street, only about 6" of it exposed.
