i have a 99 crewcab duelly. it has 70000 on it now. bought new in 99. the first month i had it drove to montana with the gooseneck an 2 tractors weighing in at 30000. great power. the sucking sound you hear is the fuel goin through the fuel line. i average 10 weighing in at 30k all this pickup does is pull my show tractors around. any how it used a quart to 600 that trip an everytime since then, i ask the dealer in montana about it using oil an he told me that was good. factory specs say that it will burn a quart to 500 in heavy useage. if not pulling the trailer will not burn a ounce. the only trouble i have had has been the transfer case once, wheel seal once. an alot of fuel. enpty well get around 12. i have also put a phase 3 power chip in it, i run duel 3 inch straight pipes out the back, it will rattle windows, an a kn free flow air filter. power is great. run down the road at any speed i want loaded, when loaded an rolling good you dont sneak up on anyone. they can hear ya acomin johndeeregene
