hello I'm not sure if the transmission has ever been rebuilt. It has no leaks, No rust. another thing I forgot to mention is it has new brakes as well. I am located in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the price I posted was in Canadian funds. The Engine was reuilt by my my friend (owner)himself, and I know he does good work. He paid 3300 for the truck 1 and a half years ago. silimar trucks in the Auto trader are going from anywhere from 1500 to 4000. Thanks, Russ
