Marte, This is not a permanent solution, but is very effective in eliminating leaking carbs. When you are ready to shut down the engine just close the needle valve on the sediment bowl, while the engine is still running. The engine will stop after a very short time. This technique can be used until you solve the problem. Also, check the bowl gasket to insure it is not interfering with the float.
