Hi Mark. My dog just lost alot and I mean alot of wieght real quickly. She stopped eating and just started laying around like she was half dead. Except for the wieght and activity level the only way to tell what was the matter was a blood test and urine sample. My dog has always been really fussy about her feet also. Always licking and dont touch them dad. It maybe yours walked in something that bothered him. Good luck with your lab. There is a reason they call dogs "A mans best friend"
