Depending on the tractor and how easy it is to remove/replace the battery, and how often you are starting up your tractor, there's an old secret that is almost forgotten. Just take the battery out and keep in in the house. The amount of cranking power a battery loses when it gets cold (or very cold) is hard to believe. Keep it inside and if you can install it without too much fuss, you are almost guaranteed a foolproof start. And you aren't adding on to your already high power bill.
