The conversion sounds like fun! I wonder... would the diesel be rare enough to warrant selling it as-is for a good price, and looking for an "M" with a bad engine? I have always wanted a diesel "M", but probably couldn't afford to fix one up at this time! Also, I have a 4-cylinder small Isuzu diesel I have considered putting into a tractor. The good thing about that, it would already have a governor.
