Hi Mark,

When that happens to me, especially on a high dollar item that has bumped up against it's value, I stop the auction and demand to know who I'm biddin' against.

I wanna be eyeball to eyeball with the other guy and if he wants the item more than I do, that's fine.

However, if the cryer is just pullin' bids outta the air, I make darned sure everyone in the crowd knows about it.
