Now thats what I call being in the right place at the right time. My dad managed to pick up an IH 484 with an almost new quick tach loader on it for $6,000 just a few years ago, it didn't have any paint left on it because it had been used for silage and left in the bunk, but it runs like new and we have now repainted it. I see them in fastline magazine for $10,000 for just the tractor, and ours has a Case IH 2250 loader on it worth about $3,500. Only compaint is I really wish it was a 4x4, it's always stuck the very second you get it off a hard surface and the loader is too big and too hard on the tractor. Me thinks it may be getting time to sell it and move up to something 4wd with a loader better matched, but I'll bet we will miss the fuel economy of this one.
