Txblu I understand your feelings about the filters, Have you tried Mobil 1 brand oil filters? The few times I have used them leave the oil looking clean for thousands of miles longer. I do not use them on a regular basis because they are not stocked at many places in my area. The only place I have found them is at a K mart nearly 100 miles away,and they do not stock filters for all models.
