Should you go ahead, proceed with caution. Could you find a rops from a similar sized/brand tractor and retro fit? The engineering is exspensive and extensive. Several rops & tractors get written off as wrecks by the factory testing until they get it right. If the rops is too stiff there is no give, it or the tractor chassis will break unstead. If a weld doesn't workout quite right, wrong steel alloy used or design problems. The rops will fail. Even if the rops is perfect the tractor chassis has to be designed to work with a rops. Should an exle or trans/bellhousing snap under stress. The driver would be in danger. An engineered seatbelt will also be required. It's impossible to hang on in a rollover. Worse than embarassing getting crushed by the rops you built. I rolled a machine last year when a ditch bank caved in. Scared me something serious as that seatbelt I almost didn't repair and use. Kept me from being crushed under the escavator.
