Cant get tractor Insurance

I have 4 tractors, value of approx $12,000, they are stored at my dad's...I cant get insurance on them...agent says that unless they are appraised no one will insure them..even when they are appraised, insurance will be hard to get because they arent on my place. I dont show them, only transport them rarely, should I worry about insurance? I am concerned about fire and barn collapse, etc.
