Deere parts - shipping handling

Got a shock this evening. Had ordered a small spring which was $3.74 which I thought was kind of steep ,but the real kicker was I was charged $2.00 for "shipping & handling".Next time I'll,check the local hardware first.Probably could have gotten it there for a third of the price without the S&H.Dealer says the branch house is charging the S&H so he has no option but to charge it too.Said one part that was ordered for another customer and the part weighed less than an ounce--S&H was $11.You think Deere has too many employees living in big houses overlooking the "Big Muddy?"I think I have lived about long enough.
