If you can get both! IMHO the 8n is more usful, easier to get parts for, and easier to sell. Bought my 8n on a whim, but found out that it is very useful around here. Looks like a lawnmower next to the Farmalls, but does most of the work (except for heavey stuff). Never had luck with Allis (had a 14), more HP than the 8n, but seemed to be "fragile" - - had trouble with the rear-end also. Check around your area, but I bet the *n will sell faster (and for more).
