These tractors are the older model of the 444 and 354. The BD154 would have a lifespan of 3500 to 5000 hours. We had one with a 1501 IHC loader. The diesel is very cold blooded and required a 1500 watt tank heater to assist starting in cool or cold weather. The glow plug system must be properly maintained. When the 434 was 3 years old we replaced it with a 454 and an 1850 loader. this had the Nuess 179 inch direct injection motor. Never use ether in the 434 It is a good light duty tractor. Good luck.
