This is kind of similar to what the others have said above, that it might be fuel-related: Have you changed the fuel filter? If the fuel filter is limiting flow, that will affect the fuel pressure and possibly prevent the engine from starting. I'm not sure where it is on the '97 model, but on my '93 it's inside the frame rail, on the driver's side, just in front of the rear wheel. New fuel filter will cost you 10 or 12 dollars and just may do the trick. Good luck, and let us know how you make out. -- Maine Fordson P.S. : If it gets below freezing where you are, have you given the fuel tank a dose of DryGas (or IsoHeet, or whichever one you prefer)? Water in fuel line, even if only a little, will raise the dickens... Just a thought...
