Yeah 40 acres is certainly a whole lot of mowing, but he might run into problems with a batwing like I would here, a batwing wouldn't be very practicle for me because it won't fit in between trees in the old pasture. I'd say it would be rather foolish if he has 40 acres of nice open land not to crop it, put it into hay or something, try to make alittle money off it, brush hogging it is going to cost him money.
