A one ton duel wheel pickup GCVWR is 20,000 lb. A one ton single wheel pickup GCVWR is 18,000 lb A three quarter ton pickup GCVWR is 16,000lb GCVWR (gross combined vehicle weight rating) Truck, trailer and load. Legally a ton duel wheel truck cannot pull over a five ton trailer.
