That is not the serial number, it's the type number. Bolens - Food Machinery Co. often used "01" at the end of their type numbers. For example, the Bolens "Power-Ho" has type numbers A302B01 and 12ABA02, "Unisickle" is type number 12A251, "Gardener" has type numbers B6A4 07, B6A5 07, B6A5S 01, "Three Row Cultivator" has type numbers AR112 01, BR115 01, "Ridemaster" has type number 35AB2 01, etc., &c.
