The BN had rear wheel tread adjustments from 56 to 104 inches. The regular B has 56 to 88-inch adjustments. ALMOST all BN tractors had 42 inch rear tires, but NOT ALL as the 38-inch rear wheel equipment was available on the BN right from the factory. The two-piece pedestel only became available on the regular B in 1950. The tractor you are looking at is a 1948 model and the two-piece pedestel was used as standard equipment ONLY on the BN and BW before 1950. If the tractor has a split pedestel and long axels it should be a BN. There were no BNH or BWH late styled B tractors (47-52) made.
