Not sure what you are looking for here? Ads should be placed in the selling section, not in the discussion forums - but I see you are looking more for discussion that a sale at this point???? Are the 'pistons' you mention hydraulic cylinders? What is the brand of the backhoe? You never said. Don't know of an IHC backhoe made at the time of 300's..... Since the hoe would appear to be too big for the 300, you would need to seperate to sell. No point trying to sell them together if they don't match. You could sell each as fixer-uppers, or fix them up & sell that way. Sounds like they need some major work, don't know how you will come out on putting the time into them.... Tractors often bring $400-600 if all the parts are there but don't run. Less if the bell housing is broke in half - to burn the clutch? not sure I understand the condion of the tractor here.... I'd worry about most of the rear end & shafts/gears/ castings being shot. Backhoe depends on the make & size, you didn't say. Is it 3pt, the 300 was a quickhitch.... You are looking at $300-500 or so in it's current shape maybe if it is a fairly modern, fair sized, name brand hoe. Guess I would have too many questions on it's use & abuse to pay more for it, even if the pump & all are worth more - I'd wonder if the thing worked no matter what you said - no way to really check the pins & sleeves either for wear if it isn't operating so would expect the worst there too.... That is how I view it. --->Paul

Nevertheless, the heat didn't keep vendors and visitors alike from enjoying the third annual Country Day's Event. Jane Elliott said the event was originally a one man show. "Barry Seiler, owner of Country Town Farm Supply store used to invite people up to the Johne Deere store. He would give hats and a free meal for everyone that brings a tractor." Elliott said while this
