Don't mean to side with the female, but being from back east, don't really understand how ya raise cows without some pasture. I guess you could keep them in free stall and feed accordingly? If it's a big enough free stall I don't see how it is any different than a pasture....cows are dumb, they won't know the difference.

Now if ya wanna talk inhumane...get her thinkin you are interested in veal farming. Maybe then she'll back off the pasture idear.
