OT Bear and pony

Andover NJ last Wed. night a bear went through an electric fence snapped a ponys neck drug it back through the electric fence down to the woods and ate a good part of it.Division of Fish and Game set a bacon trap, bear ignored that tried to go through the electric fence again anyway and only got scared off when a spotlight sensor kicked on.I guess anything that can take a hundred nose stings for honey doesnt mind a jolt or two.There were 24 bear livestock killings last year in 2004.The bears are protected from hunting or killing except for game warden and local trained police.Hibernations over now!
