i fixed a 4cyl mercruiser in a boat that i was given with jb weld. had a good size crack on block and intake. worked great. theres only about 15psi of water pessure running threw block. i used the original jb weld with 2-3 layers on block. let it thicken up a bit , keep working it back into crack as it runs down block. i let my coats dry for a day. try not to be in a hurry. i have never had a promlom since. make sure your crack is super clean and oil free, and dry.use a good brake cleaner or simular product
