I have a neighbor like that, except he keeps the land. He is the largest land owner in Clark county KY. He served in The army, has a degree in ag from UK and is worth several million. He drives a 1973 Chevy truck that his dad bought for him before he died, because he knew he wouldn't waist money on a new truck. He is one of the nicest fellows I have ever known. I have watched him at farm auctions and he will not make one bid until the hammer is falling, then he just buy's the land and pay's for on the spot.
