Financial woes at GM. NO WONDER!!!

Been looking at a new GMC Duramax Dsl. Today I went to the dealer to make the purchase, & it had been sold! No problem one would think. 1st question I asked was can You locate another one? Was told yes BUT; no dealer will trade, or transfer! because of short supply. I then said I"ll order one. Then was told GM wont take orders for 05"s, & they were not building 06"s yet. This truck had a list price of $40,588; YET financial anylists in the past 2 weeks have been predicting GM"s stock to fall to junk status soon. Its no wonder to me; when You cant get the vehicle You want without having to wait months for it. By the way; the vehicle in question was a regular cab 4x4! GM is producing them on a limited basis. The problem is its so limited this dealership in Lebanon, IN. stated they had dealers call from as far as the Carolinas wanting to trade, for it. There are plenty of extended, & crew cabs available; But not well equipped reg cabs (which is all I will buy)! Seems they have a serious supply, & demand problem here! Scotty
