Depends on which 2 cyl Detroit those generators have. If they're "53" series (253), it's the same motor that powers the John Deere 435 wheel tractor. And the 253 shares many internal parts (pistons, sleeves, valves, injectors, etc) with the 453 Detroit found in the Oliver 1900GM/1950GM. However if they're "71" series (271), they'll share internal parts with the 371 found in the Oliver 99GM, and with the venerable 671 Detroit used in all manner of trucks, buses, construction equipment, etc. for several decades. These 2 stroke Detroits are noisy and they tend to leak oil. But they're also bulletproof old engines!
