Hi Hugh, You are correct. I installed this software to keep the bad guy out and got a message one day that xyz was trying to enter my computer. Cleared it and not long after it happened 2 more times. Something in the alert led me to the fact that the computer was connected to my internet provider, meaning that they were a customer as I was. I called the/my provider and gave them the cumputer's number and details. Haven't had it happen since. Must have got him. Mark
