I can tell you to stay away from any of the early v-6 durangos. I"ve got a 2002 3.9 dodge dakota regular cab 4x4 that gets about 12-14 on average of city and highway. The front end is cheaply made, and creaks/buscks every time I try to turn. It only has 30,000 on it, and has been used in 4wd a bit, but the 4wd has never been abused. The 3.9 also doesn"t have any power. A friend of mine has the same truck with a 318, and gets 2-3 more miles a gallon. Any questions , e-mail is unlocked.
