The tranny is not likely a ZF, most likely a Spicer or Eaton/Fuller. Is it air brake or Hyd.? The chassis parts are basically the same as an IH med duty truck-3800 or perhaps 3400 series for the short bus. You may need a CDL to drive it -depending on GVWR. If you make it into a camper your insurance will be lower than as a hauler.If it is in good shape $2-3000 would buy one here.
