Easy choice. Go to Chevy dealer and buy a Goodwrench engine. These are new engines - not rebuilt! Less than $2000 and you're on the road again with a good warranty straight from Chevy.

I have one in my old truck and we put one in my son's truck last year. No problems with either one.

Some dealers run specials where they install for next to nothing. Check them out. Goodwrench engines are the best thing Chevy sells.
