Hi Sam, I use ATF type F, 1qt/100gal #2D in my 02 F350 PSD for the past 15k miles. I only have 19k on the truck. It imeaditly quitens the injector noise by half on my PSD. I could care less what Ford says as it my money and I want 500k plus out of my injectors. If I would take it in for a injector warranty repair, Ford would just tell me the injector damage was caused by water, so no warranty. I also quad filter my fuel, once at the fuel stop pump, twice at my aux fuel tank, 10micron and 2 micron, then the factory installed final filter. I get sediment in the 10micron filter bowel but not the 2micron filter. I ran type F in a VW diesel for 300k miles without any problems. T_Bone
