OT: Females and their married names ....

Probably going to catch it for posting this sort of a question here but where else would I get any replies worth reading but here on the YT forum sites. Anyways, went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and the young lady kept her own last name as is done so often these days. Personally, I don't worry about that too much although I think it's nice if a child has the same last name as their mother but no big deal. Just wondering what percentage you would guess is that way these days and what percentage change their names to their husband's last name. My wife guesses that it is a 50/50 split these days, I would say maybe one in three keep their names while two out of three change it. Any guesses from you and what's happening in the area where you live?
