Two questions beg asking.....how big is the anvil, and do you know the history of the land? Sounds like that might be an old dump or something. Set the plow a bit deeper and see what else "turns up". I have never dug anything up while plowing that I can think of; but it sounds like fun. Where are you lcoated? Maybe I'll come over with my plow and help you search!
